Personal Experience

Over the past 30+ years I have been involved with quite a few community organizations, including Lifeline Gippsland, Yallambee Aged Care, Maryvale Friendly Society, ACSO and a few others.

When I am asked why I am so community minded – the answer is simple!
I was born into a community!

I have 5 brothers, 5 sisters and had a very caring mother and father, and in the street where I was raised there were many large families – being the oldest boy, literally ‘big brother” it came naturally to me to care for my siblings and the other younger kids.

My philosophy in life is to bring joy to others and to find joy in my life – I’m still caring for young kids today!
