My name is Lauren, I am a Programs and Innovation Officer with Latrobe Health Assembly, joining the team in mid-2023. I have a Bachelor of Health Science (Health Promotion and Nutrition) and an Honors in Nutrition Sciences with Deakin University. After studying and working in Melbourne for a number of years, I moved back to the Valley where I grew up and where I call home.
I have been lucky enough to work across several Latrobe based organisations since graduating, all of which share the same drive to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. The assembly provides a unique opportunity to work closely with community and gives community the ability to drive the work we do, and I am grateful to be able to be a part of that. I hope that my local knowledge and understanding of where we all live, work and play will assist in the work that we do and I am excited to share my experiences and learn from others as we explore new opportunities together.Â
