My name is Jo Manco and I am the Project Coordinator with the Latrobe Health Assembly. I have been working with the Latrobe Health Assembly for 12 months and bring with me experience in the public service sector, specialising in regulatory compliance and enforcement of heavy vehicles. Professional services sector; in business and project management, call centre operations and real estate.
I have the pleasure of facilitating a regular virtual social meeting space between volunteers and the residents of the Macalister Unit of Latrobe Regional Hospital. Providing our most vulnerable with an opportunity to connect, have social interactions and establish new friendships in a safe and supported environment, while minimising the negative effects of being disconnected from family, friends and the community.
It would be wonderful to see the valuable work of the Latrobe Health Assembly continue well into the future, and for further Health Assemblyâs to be established in other communities.
