My name is Ange Gordon and I have been a community member with the LHA from itâs inception. I am also one of the original community board members and I continue with this role.
I am a VCE PE, Sport and Recreation and VET Health services teacher at the University Campus of Kurnai College.
One of my favourite projects to date has been the Garmin in schools project. This enabled working relationships to be developed between the various schools in the Latrobe Valley. We have been able to build on this and deliver additional programs to the schools. These include the Hopeful Institiute seminars, small grants program and the Pelvic Pain foundation talks.
I would like to see the LHA continue to be a platform that community can have a true voice in the innovative ways we deliver health programs and projects within the Latrobe Valley into the next generation.
