Complimentary Hand Sanitiser for Day Care Centres and Kindergartens

As result of a donation the Latrobe Health Assembly is distributing nearly five hundred bottles of free hand sanitiser to all day care centres and kindergartens in the Latrobe Valley area.

Chair of the Assembly, Ms Tanya Rong, said “the Pharmacy Guild of Australia – Victorian Branch has very kindly made this large quantity of sanitiser available to the Latrobe Health Assembly for distribution to day care centres and kindergartens within Latrobe City.

The sanitiser was manufactured by Carlton United Breweries and donated to the Pharmacy Guild for them to share with organisations who are remaining operational during COVID-19 self-isolation”.

Pictured is Lizzie Snell, Morwell Centre Manager at Goodstart Early Learning, who was very happy to accept the donation and said “appropriate hand sanitiser has become harder to find during the COVID-19 crisis and has become very expensive, but is essential to maintain proper levels of cleanliness during this time”.

Ms Rong concluded by saying “the Latrobe Health Assembly is committed to the health and wellbeing of all members of our community and as such, we are pleased to have been able to supply early childhood centres with hand sanitiser for their use”.
